JOB SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The eCommerce Warehouse Manager will manage all eCommerce warehouse strategies for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Gladiators and Canton Charge This position will be responsible for managing the eCommerce warehouse team, ensuring an exceptional fan experience with every online purchase and maximizing day to day operational efficiencies: receiving, shipping (domestic and international), merchandise flow, inventory control and warehouse organization and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have a strong work ethic, ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, experience leading a team, strong communication skills and must be “obsessed with finding a better way.”

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.  

Talent

  • Leads the hiring/training/development and supervision of eCommerce Warehouse Team Members.
  • Maintains ongoing communication with the buying team and retail leadership to ensure timely merchandise flow with a focus on increasing sales.
  • Assures compliance with all Human Resource standard operating procedures.
  • Provides consistent feedback and holds staff accountable for results including maximum productivity. 
  • Builds and maintains positive partnerships with all internal Departments.

Operations 

  • Consistently analyzes and improves operational efficiencies including: pick-pack-ship, shipping services (domestic and international), merchandise flow, markdowns, receiving, damages and physical inventory for maximum productivity.
  • Facilitates all warehouse organizational efforts.
  • Manages daily warehouse opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensures warehouse cleanliness and overall maintenance meets defined standards and expectations.
  • Ongoing communication with Building Operations Team Members.
  • General protection of company assets via adherence to corporate retail inventory policies and procedures 
  • Manages controllable operational expenses (payroll, supplies, etc.

Brand

  • Instructs, engages and trains Team Members to deliver an exceptional fan experience for every product sold and shipped.
  • Maintains standard operating procedures and holds team accountable for compliance to standards.
  • Ensures efficient use of time and resources.
  • Properly staffs and schedules to support the needs of the business within budgetary constraints.
  • Utilizes all technological resources and tools to ensure best practices.
  • Creates and maintains informational data/spreadsheets as needed.
  • Ensures product quality meets brand standards.
  • Promotes Team environment and Brand culture.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Retail: Warehouse Operations
Retail Warehouse Associate - Cleveland Cavaliers (Parma, OH)

Position Location: Cleveland Cavaliers Off-Site Retail Warehouse - 12665 Corporate Dr., Parma, OH 44130.

Type of Position: Hourly, Part-time

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager of Retail Warehouse Operations, assists the Quicken Loans Arena retail operations team with day-to-day inventory and warehouse activities that include but are not limited to processing shipments, storing/organizing products, distributing/replenishing merchandise, and participation in retail operational special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and checking-in of retail vendor purchase orders and receipts.
  • Counting verifications of product.
  • Ticketing merchandise.
  • Inventory put-away and organization of product in warehouse.
  • Picking and pulling of warehouse merchandise for distribution to retail selling locations.
  • Facilitate movement of merchandise to and from warehouse and across various selling locations.
  • Participate in physical inventories and periodic cycle counts in warehouse and various selling locations.
  • Print and distribute markdown documents and tickets to appropriate selling locations.
  • Perform price change ticketing of warehouse inventory.
  • Create and maintain various information spreadsheets and files as direct by supervisor.
  • Facilitate organizational efforts within retail operations warehouse area.
  • Maintain daily detailed communications with supervisor pertaining to all levels of responsibility,
  • Execute internal product transfers and merchandise requests.
  • Process merchandise damages and return-to-vendor product requests.
  • Maintain retail operations supply inventory.
  • Maintain and organize retail fixture inventories.
  • Ability to operate motorized pallet jack and/or forklift if necessary.
  • Participate in special event and concert retail set-ups and teardowns.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of retail inventory or operations experience in a specialty or department store environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer knowledge and/or experience including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • General knowledge and experience navigating the Internet.
  • Ability to work extended hours based on workload and deadlines.
  • Perform work requiring extended periods of walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and light load carrying.
  • Ability to work majority of regular season games and events and/or as dictated by job responsibilities and workload.

Type of Position: Part-time, Union, Hourly and Commission pay for special events/concerts

Position Overview:

Our Retail Team Members are responsible for delivering an exceptional fan shopping experience at Quicken Loans Arena.  Retail Team Members will achieve goals related to sales, customer service, inventory maintenance, merchandising, and loss prevention. We are looking for Seasonal Team Members to assist us during our Playoff/Post Season. If you are friendly, energetic, and thrive working in a team environment, this job is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Provides outstanding customer service.
  • Sells merchandise to fans and customers utilizing Point-Of-Sale (POS) registers.

Arena Retail Concession and Training Manager - Retail (Cleveland, OH)

JOB SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Manages the overall Concession Merchandise operation for all Quicken Loans Arena games and events. This includes responsibility for planning, staffing, sales, operations, visuals, and overall fan experience. Creates and executes strategic training curriculum to support the on-going development of the Retail team. Acts as key Leadership support in the Team Shop and promotes connectivity and consistency across all Retail locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Management

  • Supervise and manage staffing for all arena events including Retail Team Leads and sales associates.
  • Assist and support Arena Brand Manager and Senior Retail manager with the execution of retail strategies involving Team development, Fan experience, sales, and operations.
  • Develop and forecast sound operational and financial plans associated with managing retail merchandise strategies for Quicken Loans Arena concessions/events.
  • Develop and execute sales, expense, and operational strategies at a detailed level and derived from the established corporate goals and budgets.
  • Drive operational integrity within Retail department through execution and auditing of day to day operations and overall Operations initiatives.
  • Utilize all technological resources and tools to assure best practices and time management. Strong excel and computer skills essential.

Fan Experience

  • Ensure staff training is consistently focused on the delivery of an ELEVATED fan experience
  • Manage the planning and execution of all event day functions to support flawless fan interaction, including staffing, visuals, and operational support.
  • Utilize and analyze reports and recaps to gain knowledge of trends to maximize opportunities.

Team Member Development

  • Actively drive the on-going training and development of Retail Team members.
  • Develop superior selling, service, merchandising, leadership and operational skills throughout Retail Team.
  • Develop diversified internal and external bench-strength.
  • Ensure compliance with all Human Resource standard operating procedures.
  • Hold staff accountable for results: productivity, sales, operations, service, visuals.
  • Provide consistent staff feedback including recognition, coaching/counseling as needed.

Merchandising Operations

  • Communicate merchandising needs/opportunities to buying staff.
  • Maximize efficiencies and accuracy pertaining to the movement of merchandise as it relates to receiving, distributions, across all locations.
  • Oversee and execute markdown, promotions and liquidation strategies within areas of responsibility.
  • Support all POS functions through expertise in this area.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Must have solid background creating and implementing training programs. Multi-unit management experience preferred. Must possess ability to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the Team and react accordingly. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Required to work all Quicken Loans Arena games and events.
