Retail Warehouse Associate - Cleveland Cavaliers (Cleveland, OH)

Position Location: Cleveland Cavaliers Off-Site Retail Warehouse - 12665 Corporate Dr., Cleveland, OH 44130.

Type of Position: Hourly, Part-time

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager of Retail Warehouse Operations, assists the Quicken Loans Arena retail operations team with day-to-day inventory and warehouse activities that include but are not limited to processing shipments, storing/organizing products, distributing/replenishing merchandise, and participation in retail operational special projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and checking-in of retail vendor purchase orders and receipts.
  • Counting verifications of product.
  • Ticketing merchandise.
  • Inventory put-away and organization of product in warehouse.
  • Picking and pulling of warehouse merchandise for distribution to retail selling locations.
  • Facilitate movement of merchandise to and from warehouse and across various selling locations.
  • Participate in physical inventories and periodic cycle counts in warehouse and various selling locations.
  • Print and distribute markdown documents and tickets to appropriate selling locations.
  • Perform price change ticketing of warehouse inventory.
  • Create and maintain various information spreadsheets and files as direct by supervisor.
  • Facilitate organizational efforts within retail operations warehouse area.
  • Maintain daily detailed communications with supervisor pertaining to all levels of responsibility,
  • Execute internal product transfers and merchandise requests.
  • Process merchandise damages and return-to-vendor product requests.
  • Maintain retail operations supply inventory.
  • Maintain and organize retail fixture inventories.
  • Ability to operate motorized pallet jack and/or forklift if necessary.
  • Participate in special event and concert retail set-ups and teardowns.
  • Facilitate processing of 3rd party merchandise during special events and concerts.
  • Assist with Web order fulfillment and shipping efforts.
  • Assist operations group and head office with coordination and execution of special projects as needed.
  • General protection of company assets via adherence to corporate retail inventory policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of retail inventory or operations experience in a specialty or department store environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer knowledge and/or experience including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • General knowledge and experience navigating the Internet.
  • Ability to work extended hours based on workload and deadlines.
  • Perform work requiring extended periods of walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and light load carrying.
  • Ability to work majority of regular season games and events and/or as dictated by job responsibilities and workload.
  • Ability to work 100% of all marquee events including but not limited to playoffs/post season games.

Retail Team Member - Cleveland Cavaliers (Cleveland, OH)

Type of Position: Part-time, Union, Hourly and Commission pay for special events/concerts

Position Overview:

Our Retail Team Members are responsible for delivering an exceptional fan shopping experience at Quicken Loans Arena.  Retail Team Members will achieve goals related to sales, customer service, inventory maintenance, merchandising, and loss prevention. We are looking for Seasonal Team Members to assist us during our Playoff/Post Season. If you are friendly, energetic, and thrive working in a team environment, this job is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Provides outstanding customer service.
  • Sells merchandise to fans and customers utilizing Point-Of-Sale (POS) registers.
  • Adheres to strict cash management and handling policies and procedures.
  • Achieves sales productivity and incentive goals.
  • Collects customer information via POS when directed for future sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Accurately checks-in and processes new merchandise (count, hang, ticket, organize, etc…)
  • Merchandises products in a professional and organized manner.
  • Process markdowns and ticket products as directed.
  • Accurately signs and identifies products being displayed and sold.
  • Participates in physical inventories and periodic cycle counts.
  • Accurately accounts for documents and various media in an organized manner.
  • Maintains daily detailed communications with team leader.
  • Executes product transfers as directed.
  • Accurately maintains retail supply and signage inventories.
  • Organizes and preserves retail fixture inventories.
  • Participates in set-ups and tear-downs of fixtures and stands for events and games.
  • Maintains a clean and organized selling location.
  • Provides assistance and training for other team members when needed.
  • Assists team leader with coordination and execution of special projects as directed.
  • Assures protection of company assets while adhering to corporate retail loss prevention policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of retail sales experience in a sports or entertainment concession environment preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer knowledge and/or experience including retail point-of-sale registers.
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours based on business needs.
  • Perform work requiring extended periods of walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and light load carrying.
  • Ability to work majority of regular season games, events and concerts as dictated by job responsibilities and schedule.
  • Ability to work 100% of all marquee events including but not limited to playoffs/post season games.
  • Reads, speaks, and comprehends English effectively.

eCommerce Associate - Merchandising (Cleveland, OH)

JOB SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the eCommerce Manager, the associate will deliver an exceptional fan experience for all eCommerce sales while assisting in fulfillment, inventory management, and customer care for all the Cavaliers Holdings Companies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fulfill customer orders accurately and adhere to proper shipping policies for domestic and international orders.
  • Understand the full lifecycle of website products and product promotions.
  • Work on special assignments/projects concerning functionality as it concerns merchandising, data management, and operational processes.
  • Handle incoming retail customer service calls and emails with a winning attitude and strong analytical skills elevating the fan experience.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Maintain inventory according to best practices to ensure proper counts, reduced shrink and operational efficiencies.
  • Work hands-on with eCommerce software and other PC and Web applications. Computer skills required to perform key functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • 6 -12 months of retail selling and inventory or operations experience in a specialty or department store environment.
  • Computer experience including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
