Suites CRM Coordinator - Cleveland Cavaliers (Cleveland, OH)

General Overview: Under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Business Intelligence, the Suites and Premium Seating Coordinator will work closely with the Suites and Premium seating department on different projects and initiatives with a primary focus on data management and analytics.

Responsibilities include leading and managing an integrated data and analysis strategy by:

  • Managing the input and integrity of Suites and Premium seating data into Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including but not limited to key contacts, financial information, contract specifics.
  • Working closely with the Ticket Operations, Suite and Premium Seating sales team, and the Sales and Service Operation team on different initiatives and business projects.
  • Creating and manage new business processes through Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Acting as liaison for all Accounts Receivable activity pertaining to Suites and Premium Seating
  • In conjunction with ticket operations, implement and manage suite lease event distribution process
  • Assisting the Process Analyst on day-to-day management of different business processes and procedures
  • Presenting new and creative business ideas using data backed decisions.
  • Developing techniques to identify, extract and analyze data to support business decisions
  • Proposing and effectively disseminating cutting edge ideas, process improvements and best practice research to advance the organization’s analytical capabilities

Qualifications:

Corporate Partnership Marketing, Director - Cleveland Cavaliers (Cleveland, OH)

The Partnership Marketing, Director is responsible for the management, execution, revenue growth and renewal of high profile Cavaliers Holdings LLC sponsor accounts (including Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Canton Charge, Cleveland Gladiators and other properties as assigned).  The individual in this role is expected to consistently work internally and externally to create strategic activations and vision for corporate partners and facilitate these integrated marketing platforms that include assets such as promotional programs, media, digital, community relations, hospitality and other marketing programing. The role is expected to have strong contributions for revenue growth of their account base and provide overall revenue growth within the business through strategic upsells, including but not limited to marketing and hospitality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain personal and business relationships with all levels of partner contacts (i.e. day to day contacts, Sr. Management, C level executives, owners, etc.)
  • Lead & manage all initiatives in the renewal process, including but not limited to developing a strategic plan, leading meetings, discussions, & negotiations, creating detailed upsell opportunities & revised partnership elements within overall business philosophy (inventory, parameter, category management).
  • Proactively seeks and cultivates new ideas to present to clients for upsell opportunities and grow the business

  • Lead proactive communication and initiatives to connect assigned partners to the network of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ customer base and family of partners to establish B2B opportunities and success stories that grow the partner’s business.
  • Provide thorough proof of performance and recaps on a regular basis to all partners that include measurement, demonstrate ROI and ROO, and tells the story of the partnership through images and storytelling of the partnership execution throughout the year.
  • Manage and track all account history, relationship touch points, and partnership details in CRM on a consistent basis.
  • Attend regular network and promotional events to develop and maintain touch points with clients and other business colleagues around the industry locally, regionally and nationally.
  • Liaise with other departments for ideation & execution regarding sponsored programs while developing and maintaining strong internal relationships

  • Attend Cavaliers home games, as well as Monsters, Charge and Gladiators games in addition to other Quicken Loans Arena events to host sponsors, create meaningful touchpoints and manage partnership execution.

  • Work consistently with Scarborough, Repucom, Turnkey and other measurement tools in addition to working with the Analytics team to provide thorough measurement, results and opportunities for assigned partners.
  • Create and execute on a strategic added value plan (i.e. advertising exposure, promotions, programing, B2B connections, etc.) for all corporate partners while conforming to all budgetary constrictions established in Partner Agreements and protecting the integrity and value of company assets.
  • Responsible to cultivate and support new ideas, maintain a relentless drive for success, and an engaging and positive attitude to meet goals and add value to the organization in a team first driven way.
  • Be solution driven, responsible to develop solutions to all challenges or restrictions that arise internally as well as within corporate partnership relationships and contractual obligations as well as throughout the industry.

Qualifications:

Seasonal Assistant- Ticket Sales & Service - Cleveland Cavaliers (Cleveland, OH)

Primary Overview of Position

Under the guidance of the department’s team leaders, this person will observe and learn the functions of the Cavaliers Ticket Sales & Service Team by participating in various team activities, events and day-to-day operations. 

Experience gained in the following areas:

Administrative function as it pertains to maintaining client records:

      Assist with all departmental activities including: coordination of Wine & Gold United and Wine & Gold Nation Member mailings, social media sites, data entry, processing and tracking Wine & Gold United and Wine & Gold Nation membership materials, management of incoming and outgoing mail and assist in the execution of special events. This person will support the sales team with managing and developing marketing and sales materials and assisting in the distribution of this material to current and potential customers.

Hands-on Sales experience as it relates to game day responsibilities:

Assist in game day activities, which include: helping with pre-game programs, in-game experiences and events, and post-game programs as it relates to Ticket Sales & Service. In addition, this person will answer sales and service related questions during the game, distribution of game programs to all VIP seats before the game, set-up Membership Headquarters and hang and remove all corporate box signs before and after the game, respectively.

      Special Event Coordination:

      Assist in the coordination/implementation of special events hosted at the arena or off-site, based on current need.  Events include (not limited to): Wine & Gold United and Wine & Gold Nation Members, Group Leaders, Suite and Premium Receptions, Picnic on The Plaza, Seat Relocation Day, WinterFest, Prospect Events, Chalk Talks, Cavaliers Annual Career Fair, etc.

Hands-on Sales Experience as it relates to preparation for the upcoming season:

      Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Computer literacy is required; experience in Prezi and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.  Experience in related activities at the college level is preferred.
  • Must be organized and enjoy detail.  Must be flexible, able to accept direction and constructive criticism, as necessary, and to absorb and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

This is a temporary position that requires the ability to work 40 hours per week, including game nights.

Position Overview:

The QTV Production Team is looking for a highly motivated, creative individual to assist the QTV and Marketing team.  This individual will assist on all aspects in the grand spectrum of sports production; in-arena, broadcast, marketing and web projects. 

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfilling various requests for digital copies of footage and finished videos.
  • Keeping work areas stocked with both pertinent video and office supplies.
  • Keeping work areas neat and orderly.
  • Assuming the duties as production assistant on various shoots.
  • Producing quality graphics for use in-game, web, broadcast, duplication requests and/or misc.
  • Shooting and producing for use in-game, web and broadcast and/or misc.
  • Game night duties (could be used in any and all aspects of a live event)
  • Editing a product for use in-game, web, broadcast and/or miscellaneous projects.
  • Working as the best possible teammate to support all QTV team members and their projects.

This seasonal position will involve all levels of production and will vary day to day. Professionalism, work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will determine how much responsibility the QTV seasonal will earn of the course of a semester of work. This position is open everyone including those trying to earn college credit.

We are looking for the best possible person not to only contribute to the organization, but to also take away for themselves the vast amount of knowledge we can provide them.

The Manager, Marketing Promotions Proactively supports Cleveland Cavaliers Marketing team efforts by managing a diverse number of projects including leadership of team projects, development and activation of the Cavaliers promotional giveaway schedule and general administrative duties.  The successful candidate also provides overall support of partner properties, including the Cleveland Monsters, Canton Charge, Cleveland Gladiators, and Quicken Loans Arena.

PROMOTIONAL ITEM STRATEGY & FULFILLMENT

  • Utilizes a combination of best practices, research, and innovation to determine optimal season-long promotional item (giveaway) mix.
  • Works with Ticket Sales, Analytics, and Partnerships teams to develop promotional item calendar and launch promotional strategies to enhance the Fan experience and drive ticket sales.
  • Works closely with key partners to design, approve, and deliver promotional items in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Leads the promotional item distribution process with the facility operations team, assists in the management of product quotes, and assists in the receipt of premium items.
  • Works with the Analytics team to capture and analyze data on all key promotions.

CONCOURSE EXPERIENCE OVERSIGHT

  • Guides and supports direct report in the following areas:
    • Cavaliers’ concourse Fan experience design and overall strategy:
      • Provides oversight in the creation of interactive concepts that support team brand and Fan activation plans. 
      • Proactively shares plans/opportunities with the Partnerships team for potential partnership agreements. 
    • Game-day concourse activation: Helps with the setup and breakdown of all concourse elements.      
    • “Loudville” concourse innovation and activation: Develops innovative ideas and activates plans to proactively support the Cavaliers “Loudville” brand concept. 
    • Staff management: Assists with part-time staff and third-party vendor management as needed. 
  • Provides support and partners with the Cleveland Monsters, Canton Charge, Cleveland Gladiators, and Quicken Loans Arena (partner properties) to guarantee that best practices and opportunities are activated across all properties. 
  • Other duties will be defined on a case-by-case basis.
  • Responsible for managing all projects on time, and within stated budgets.

EVENT MANAGEMENT

  • Plans, coordinates, and executes a variety of Marketing-based in-arena and off-site events, including the Wine & Gold Scrimmage, Watch Parties, Draft Parties, etc.
  • Activates concourse and Fan activation elements for off-site games (when applicable).  Activation includes preparation, general planning, on-site management, coordination with facility operations teams, and successful event activation to meet team marketing goals.

Position Overview:

With a goal of exceeding the expectations of our Wine & Gold United Members/Season Ticket Holders through proactive service, anticipation of needs and delivery of a superior product in order to maximize retention and revenue, our Membership Development Specialists will take the lead on all aspects of client retention, upselling, cross-selling and customer service. The Membership Development Specialist will strive to build customer loyalty and satisfaction by delivering unique experiences, creating relationships through personal touch points and by providing clear and consistent communication with integrity to secure our clients long term commitment to, and confidence in, our organization. Responsibilities:

  • Main focus on upselling, cross-selling current membership base on additional Wine & Gold United memberships, group programs, MAC Tournament packages, AHL Hockey Programs, Cleveland Gladiators and Quicken Loans Arena Luxury Suites. Relationship selling skills will be key in this process.
  • Acquire qualified referrals from membership base in order to maximize additional revenue opportunities.

  • Enter all touch points and client profile information gathered in our CRM system for reporting, updating and account relationship purposes.
  • Coordinate assigned season ticket holder events and client experiences including, but not limited to: annual member meeting, member receptions, chalk talks, gift mailings, renewal mailings, benefit / service booklet design and mailing, seat relocation event, business networking events, rookie events, fencesitter parties, events with coaches/GM/team.

Senior Producer, Arena Projects & Events - Cleveland Cavaliers (Cleveland, OH)

Position Overview:

The QTV team is the award-winning in-house video production team for the Cleveland Cavaliers family of companies at Quicken Loans Arena. 

The QTV team is obsessed with creating the most dynamic and ground-breaking creative content to drive game presentation activation, marketing campaigns, video web/digital content and team-driven broadcast initiatives for the Cleveland Cavaliers.  These projects are in support of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Gladiators, Canton Charge, and other key properties and projects as defined throughout the year.

The QTV Senior Producer, Arena Video Projects & Events is a motivated individual, playing a leadership role in driving innovation and creative direction throughout the QTV team members and for QTV projects. 

Event Presentation -- The senior producer is the representative for QTV and the Quicken Loans Arena for all outside events.  This person creates meaningful content to enhance events, ensures outside content meets Quicken Loans Arena standards, and is delivered on-time to be tested for overall quality. This senior producer will direct all non-gameday events inside and outside of Quicken Loans Arena and ensure that fans and guests have the best visual experience possible.

Arena Video Project Productions -- This senior producer is a person that must have a passion to seek out the most innovative video techniques, trends and ideas and be able to bring those ideas to life within the QTV team for the organization. This person is highly experienced in directing and managing successful multimedia productions from concept thru writing, storyboarding, shooting, directing, producing, editing, final delivery.

Team Member Support -- This senior producer has a leadership role in enhancing quality video production processes, skills and efficiencies.  This is accomplished by developing, evaluating and upgrading the high quality content that is produced by the QTV team and our third-party partners. This includes leading, managing  and mentoring the highly passionate QTV team to develop and enhance their unique skills on a project-by-project basis.  Our shared goal is to continually raise the quality of the creative work produced by QTV.

Successful and results-driven partnerships (internal and external) is crucial.  Content that drives incredible, jaw-dropping guest/customer engagement is Job #1.  A wildly creative vision (with a high skill set toward execution) is a must.  Flexibility… an “All for one. Responsibilities:

Event Production

  • Can direct and/or produce any and all of the non-gameday events (events other than Cavs, Monsters & Gladiators) for Quicken Loans Arena properties on and off-site.
  • Non-gameday events include the MAC tournament, Harlem Globetrotters, Monster Jam, local music events, arena rentals, charity events, on & off-site meetings and many other events.
  • Actively seeks cross-training opportunities to ensure depth at across all properties at the director position.
  • Prioritizes fan-interaction and memorable implementation of in-arena/in-venue moments that take place from the second the doors open, until the last fan has left.  Amazing fan experiences that positively emphasize our shows, our brands, our partners and our community is our focus.
  • Expert in managing ANC LED content. Meets with outside vendors/partners and provides personalized QTV/LED content guide built specifically for their show. 
  • Knowledge of or willing to learn Spyder, V-Soft and all control room software and hardware needs.
  • Execute all shows beyond the expectation of show producers/directors.
  • Recommends improvements to all arena shows using our arena technology to give Quicken Loans Arena the edge in recruiting shows to the Q.
  • Prioritize fan activation and fan value.  Drive video content to be a difference maker and key addition to all in-arena and marketing activations.
  • Integrate team messaging, including ticket sales, memberships and corporate partnerships, into our creative vision. 
  • Continual research of current events, pop-culture events, music trends and trending topics… and the ability to put those ideas to action quickly.
  • Ongoing research of new technology and development in social media trends and how to be on the leading edge of activation at Quicken Loans Arena.
  • Regularly meets with building operations team members to provide the best in customer service to outside clients.
  • Work with QTV team to manage game night expectations and to ensure proper staffing.
  • Ensures live event production crew is the best in sports. This includes working to build and mentor part-time staff.   
  • Is proactive in concepting and activating how elements will be implemented live in order to maximize fan engagement and/or excitement. 
  • Strong ability to critique and recommend improvements to the arena experience in order to make each event the best in professional entertainment.
  • Is able to step into any integral role in QTV game entertainment to include QTV game day director and/or director for all properties.
  • Work with all team members to constantly and tirelessly strive for better processes, better results and better success in any and all areas in which QTV operates.

Arena Video Projects

  • Creates/manages all projects (outside of the majority of marketing spots and game operations videos) needed by all Quicken Loans Arena departments to include corporate and ticket sales, digital, human resources, community resources, building operations, marketing, and other department that needs support.
  • Ability to manage the most important productions and shoots as a producer/director at a high level is a must.
  • Bring new techniques and advice about how to direct and produce on-location shoots with extras, fans and actors.  
  • Knowledge of graphic and animation creation software.
  • Create graphics and animation content for the video boards, digital signage, LED ribbons and broadcast graphics.
  • Serve as main client contact for assigned projects; coordinate tasks and responsibilities with other producers to ensure higher quality and timely project completion.
  • Projects include concept development for all Quicken Loans Arena organizations’ creative in-arena, on broadcast, web, marketing and any other QTV creative.
  • Perform shooting and editing for video projects for both internal and external clients and mentors fellow shooters and editors to ensure best practices.
  • Projects require effective leadership within concept development, storyboarding, storytelling, scripting, production planning, shooting, editing, post-production, and finalizing content for final and approved distribution.
  • Overall knowledge in video production is mandatory with ability to know when to tactfully offer on-the-spot correction or one-on-one mentorship.
  • Can identify key areas where QTV can save time and recommend correct processes to make QTV run more efficiently.
  • Can manage production schedules for self as well as team members under supervision.
  • Able to manage multiple projects across the organization and communicate with stakeholders on progress of all productions.
  • Effectively communicate estimated time to complete projects including a breakdown of key milestones and hours for each phase of project.
  • Brings forward and upholds quality control measures to ensure 100% accountability and zero pre-production errors across the QTV team.

Team Member Support

  • Leader in QTV’s development to promote all possible assets across all properties. Plays a leadership role in cross promoting ticket sales and brand initiatives across all other properties and arena events. Work in tight partnership with the team marketing groups to support and uplift the concept development and full activation of major ticket sales campaigns, as well as key games and promotions.
  • Directly oversees small production staff, providing guidance, time management, leadership, and mentorship.
  • Provides QTV director/senior producers with advice and always communicates feedback to ensure QTV continually progresses and is the best it can be in professional entertainment.
  • Proactively supports internal teams to maintain a successful partnership with QTV.
  • Effectively connects QTV teammates with organizational messages/initiative and promotes/encourages QTV team member ideas to be up channeled and distributed to other team members across the organization.
  • Works with QTV project manager to distribute projects within this senior producer’s specialty.
  • Ensure that all individuals are creating products that meet the quality standards of QTV and are done efficiently.
  • Work with QTV director and senior producers to ensure adequate brainstorming, team building and training is occurring on a regular basis.
  • Create an environment of open communication and sharing of ideas not only within QTV but within Quicken Loans Arena family and Family of Companies.

Additional Duties

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of editing on Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, or Edius.
  • 5-8 years of experience in professional sports game presentation.
  • 5-8 years of experience in working in live sports video production.
  • 5-8 years of experience in non-linear video concepting/editing/production environment.

Primary Overview of Position

Under the guidance of the department’s team leaders, this person will observe and learn the functions of the Monsters and Gladiators Ticket Sales & Service Team by participating in various team activities, events and day-to-day operations. 

Experience gained in the following areas:

Administrative function as it pertains to maintaining client records:

      Assist with all departmental activities including: coordination of Monsters and Gladiators membership events, member mailings, data entry, processing and tracking of Monsters and Gladiators membership materials, management of incoming and outgoing mail and assist in the execution of special events. This person will support the sales team with managing and developing marketing and sales materials and assisting in the distribution of this material to current and potential customers.

Hands-on Sales experience as it relates to game day responsibilities:

Assist in game day activities, which include: helping with pre-game programs, in-game experiences and events, and post-game programs as it relates to Ticket Sales & Service. In addition, this person will answer sales and service related questions during the game, set-up Membership Headquarters and support the sales staff with gameday responsibilities.  This person will also assist with gameday Group Fan Experience events in organizing and executing said events.

      Special Event Coordination:

      Assist in the coordination/implementation of special events hosted at the arena or off-site, based on current need.  Events include (not limited to): Monsters and Gladiators membership Meet the Team events, Group Leaders events, Suite and Premium Receptions, Seat Relocation Day, Prospect Events, Chalk Talks, etc.  Additionally, will assist with dark day or pre-game youth hockey and youth football events hosted at Quicken Loans Arena.

Hands-on Sales Experience as it relates to preparation for the upcoming season(s):

Assists with providing a high level of support and customer service to group leaders and members, as well as conducts research on fan development and other sales opportunities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  Computer literacy is required; experience in Prezi and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) is preferred.  Experience in related activities at the college level is preferred.

  • Must be organized and enjoy detail.  Must be flexible, able to accept direction and constructive criticism, as necessary, and to absorb and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must take responsibility seriously and be independently motivated.

  • Maturity and the ability to distinguish between ordinary and out-of-ordinary events and/or circumstances are essential.
