Sales, Service, & Marketing: Ticket Sales
Account Executive, Organizational Business Development - Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Gladiators, & Canton Charge (Cleveland, OH)

This is a temporary position that requires the ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week. The position is expected to last up to 12 months.

Responsibilities:

You will represent the entire Cleveland Cavaliers organization.  Imagine walking the walk and talking the talk for Dan Gilbert’s family of teams: the NBA Cleveland Cavaliers, AHL Cleveland Monsters, AFL Cleveland Gladiators, and the NBA D-League Canton Charge along with family shows, world-class concerts and signature sporting events.  In this position, you will:

  • Sell Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Gladiators, and Canton Charge ticket packages, group outings, single game suites, and premium seating options.
  • Participate in game/event day duties.
  • Generate new leads through ticket sales tables during outside functions such as luncheons, business shows, conventions, etc.

Other duties include:

  • Cold calling to single game ticket buyers, businesses, and groups with the purpose of scheduling face-to-face sales appointments and closing business.

  • In-Arena Sales Tours

  • Out of Office Meetings

  • Daily prospecting of businesses

Qualifications:

  • College degree.

Retail: Warehouse Operations
E-Commerce Manager - Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Monsters, Cleveland Gladiators, & Canton Charge (Cleveland, OH)

Position Location: Cleveland Cavaliers Off-Site Retail Warehouse - 12665 Corporate Dr., Cleveland, OH 44130.

Position Overview:

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for leading our digital marketing strategy including sales, operation and brand initiatives for The Cleveland Cavaliers, The Cleveland Monsters, The Cleveland Gladiators and the Canton Charge properties. This key position will be responsible for maximizing online sales, timely and accurate management of both on-line and physical inventory, and execution of site and web warehouse processes, including merchandising, promotions, reporting analysis, and overall performance.

Responsibilities:

Talent

  • Lead the hiring/training/development/supervision and scheduling of Web Team.
  • Plan and lead daily/weekly team meetings to promote highest levels of communication, consistency, and performance.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with buying team, sales, operations teams and retail leadership to drive sales and support best practice execution.
  • Assure compliance with all HR standard operating procedures.
  • Provide consistent feedback and hold Team accountable for results including maximum productivity.
  • Build and maintain positive partnerships with all internal departments, vendors, and third party  providers.
  • Achieve labor management goals related to staffing, productivity, and payroll.

Operations

  • Responsible for timely and accurate execution of inventory flow from receiving to pick/pack/ship.
  • Responsible for full life cycle of website products and promotions, including markdown and liquidation strategies.
  • Manage  all retail content including but not limited to, product images and descriptions, customer database, promotions, pre-sales, and ad campaigns.
  • Manage multiple third party relationships including SEO, payment gateways, software developers, dropship vendors.
  • Consistently analyze sales and operational efficiencies to identify opportunities for growth and offer strategy recommendations.
  • Create, execute, and achieve sales plans, expense budgets and operational initiatives.
  • Perform daily audits to ensure accuracy, functionality, and operational integrity of site.
  • Web maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain an active knowledge of emerging technology and on-line retail trends.

Brand

  • Creatively pursue ways to maximize sales and market-share.
  • Ensure execution of ELEVATE fan experience standards.
  • Oversee alignment and integration of retail sites with digital and social media initiatives.
  • Drive advertising, marketing, promotional and social media strategies.
  • Create increased fan engagement by expanding partnerships and maximizing assets.
  • Ability to provide leadership support in all areas of retail to assist overall department initiatives, including marquee events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 year college degree, preferably concentrated in the area(s) of e-commerce, business sales and operations preferred.
  • Experience and skills in site content development, web design and site management.
  • Strong understanding of content taxonomy, SEO, and metadata strategy.
  • Skills/proficiency in SEO optimization, Email marketing, Site conversion, UX design, responsive design, Google analytics.
  • Attention to detail and strong editing skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects with short and long-term deadlines.
  • Competency with Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience running digital acquisition campaigns such as contest and email sign-ups.
